This Privacy Policy explains how To Do List (the "App"), provided by Qunovix Technologies ("we," "our," or "us"), handles information when you use the App.
This policy applies to the App and its integrated services. Third-party services have their own privacy policies and act under their own terms.
The App may store the following information on your device:
We do not operate an App backend that stores or reads your task database. Local information remains on your device unless you use an optional transfer or third-party feature described below.
If you enable notifications, widgets, or spoken alerts, task information may be visible or audible outside the App. For example, a task title may appear on your lock screen, in a notification, or in a home-screen widget, or may be spoken aloud using text-to-speech.
You can manage notification visibility, widgets, permissions, and text-to-speech behavior through the App and your device settings.
When you choose voice entry, the App uses the speech-recognition service available on your device and receives the resulting recognized text. Depending on your device and speech-service provider, audio or related technical information may be processed on the device or sent to that provider. The App does not intentionally save a recording of your voice.
When voice alerts are enabled, task titles may be sent to your device's text-to-speech service so they can be spoken. Speech recognition and text-to-speech providers process data under their own privacy policies.
When you create a local backup, the App generates a JSON file containing task data, custom lists, and relevant settings. You choose the storage location through the system file picker. Anyone who can access an unencrypted backup file may be able to read its contents.
When you restore a backup, the App reads the file you select and imports supported information into local App storage.
If you choose Google Drive backup or restore, the App uses Google Sign-In and requests access to the Google Drive application-data folder. The App uploads and downloads To Do List backup files in that private application-data area of your Google Drive account.
The App uses Google account authorization only to provide the requested backup or restore operation. We do not operate our own server for storing your Google access token or Drive backup. Google's handling of your account and files is governed by Google's Privacy Policy.
To Do List's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
The App can receive text you deliberately share from another app and can open your device's sharing interface when you choose to share App-related content. The apps, services, or people you select may receive and independently process that information.
Unless Premium is active, the App may display banner, native, interstitial, or other advertising supplied through Google Mobile Ads (AdMob). Google and its advertising partners may automatically process information such as:
Depending on your region, device settings, Google account settings, and the advertising choices available to you, ads may be personalized, non-personalized, or limited. Learn more from Google's advertising information and Google's Privacy Policy.
The App stores a limited timestamp locally to enforce a minimum interval between full-screen ads. Advertising is disabled in the App while an active Premium entitlement is recognized.
The App initializes Firebase Core using the Android configuration supplied for To Do List. This configuration contains identifiers for the App and its Firebase project, such as the Firebase App ID, project ID, and API key. These values identify the App and project, not an individual user.
We use Google Analytics for Firebase to understand how the App is used so we can improve it, fix usability problems, and decide which features to maintain. Google Analytics may automatically collect:
We do not send task titles, task lists, notes, dates you enter, backup contents, or your Google account details to Google Analytics, and we do not use Google Analytics to identify you personally.
We use Firebase Crashlytics to receive reports when the App crashes or encounters a serious error, so we can find and fix problems. A crash report may include:
Crash reports are intended to describe App failures, not your content. We do not add task content, names, or account information to crash reports.
Analytics and crash reporting are active in the version of the App distributed through Google Play. You can limit advertising-identifier use by resetting or deleting your advertising ID, or by opting out of ads personalization, in your Android device settings. Uninstalling the App stops all further collection. To ask about or request deletion of analytics or crash data associated with your installation, contact us using the details below.
Google provides Firebase and processes this information under its applicable terms, data-processing terms, and Privacy Policy. See also Privacy and Security in Firebase and How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services.
To Do List Premium is offered as a one-time, non-consumable purchase that removes advertising. Purchases are processed by Google Play. Google may collect and process payment information, account information, order history, tax information, and fraud-prevention signals under its policies.
The App receives purchase-related information needed to unlock or restore Premium, such as the product identifier, purchase status, purchase token, and verification data. The App does not receive or store your complete payment-card details.
The App may request or use the following permissions and device capabilities:
You can manage permissions through your device settings. Disabling access may limit the corresponding feature.
Information is used to:
We do not sell your task content. Information may be processed or disclosed only in the following circumstances:
To remove local App data, delete tasks and empty the recycle bin, clear the App's storage through device settings, or uninstall the App. Clearing local data does not automatically delete backup files or information held by third parties.
We use reasonable safeguards appropriate to the App's local-first design and limit the information sent to third parties to what is needed for the feature you use. However, no device, app, network, file, account, or storage system is completely secure.
Protect your device and Google account, review lock-screen notification settings, and store backup files in a secure location. Local and Google Drive backups are not end-to-end encrypted by Qunovix Technologies.
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to, or request portability of personal information and to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.
Because task data is primarily stored locally, you can exercise many choices directly by editing or deleting tasks, permanently deleting recycle-bin items, changing permissions and notification settings, deleting backup files, clearing App data, or uninstalling the App. For analytics and crash-report data, see Section 7.4.
Advertising choices may also be available through your Google account, device settings, or controls presented by Google. For information controlled by Google or another provider, submit requests directly to that provider. You may contact us using the details below for information under our control.
The App is a general task-management tool and is not directed specifically to children under 13. We do not knowingly operate a server that collects task content from children. Parents or guardians should supervise a child's use, manage device permissions and advertising settings, and decide whether backup, sharing, voice, and notification features are appropriate.
If you believe we hold personal information about a child that should be deleted, contact us. Local App data can be removed from the child's device as described above.
Google and other third-party providers may process information in countries other than the country where you live. Their privacy policies describe their processing locations and transfer safeguards. Where applicable, we handle information under relevant data-protection requirements.
The App may open Google Play, Qunovix Technologies pages, social-media profiles, support pages, or other websites. We are not responsible for external websites' content, security, or privacy practices.
We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes to the App, third-party services, legal requirements, or our practices. We will publish the revised policy and update the "Last updated" date. Where required by law, we will provide additional notice or request consent.
